PTA Membership
The Mokena PTA encourages membership of parents, staff, and the community. Printable membership forms can be found by following the appropriate link below.

Forms and payment can be returned to any of the three schools. Membership cards and PTA calendars will be distributed.

Examples of How You Can Help PTA
How to give an hour……
- Assemble fundraiser packets for students once orders come in
- Work the “Pick-up Night” for parents collecting fundraise items
- Make copies of Newsletter each month for distribution
- Sell Book Soxs at Back to School Nights
- Help at PTA Membership Table during Back to School Nights
- Help read/vote on Staff Essays during the Spring Staff Essay Contest
- Help plan, set-up, or work during the Staff Appreciation Lunch in the Spring
- Give an hour or so during one of the MJHS Dances
- Give an hour or so during the Family Fun Fair
- Give an hour or so during Santa’s Secret Workshop
- Help with set-up or clean-up during one of the PTA events
- Help make copies of any PTA flyers (e.g. Chuck E. Cheeze Night in Winter)
- Attend a PTA meeting and offer any ideas or suggestion on events, fundraiser opportunities, or other items
How to get more involved…..
- Join the Dance Committee at MJHS (coordinate DJ, volunteers, decide refreshments)
- Join the Santa’s Secret Workshop Committee (decide on items sold, keep an inventory, get sponsorship, coordinate volunteers)
- Join the Family Fun Fair (decide prizes, games, refreshments, coordinate volunteers)
- Joint the Volunteer Committee (help find volunteers for each event)
