The Mokena Educational Foundation, District 159, was established in April of 1996 as a means of financially contributing to the strength of the school district. The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds that will enrich the curriculum by providing additional opportunities for learning and supporting creative and innovative learning experiences. Wall of Honor

The Foundation has an ongoing fundraiser entitled "Wall of Honor". A donation of $100 will entitle you to a brass plaque with your inscription (up to 40 characters) attached to the wall in the main hallway of Mokena Junior High. Checks should be made payable to the Mokena Educational Foundation and be returned to the District Office or one of the members of the Foundation.
 
he Foundation is currently looking for parents, business people, and community residents who would like to get involved. The investment is as little as one hour a month but the returns are substantial.
