Grading

When you see markings on the top of your child's paper that look like this (+8/10 = 80%), that paper was taken for a grade in my grade book. If there is a star at the top of the page or  (Example: -2) that paper has been assessed but was not taken for a grade. This form of grading allows you to see approximately what grade your child is getting in any subject area.  Grades are not determined by paper work only.

A   90 - 100%

B    80 - 89%

C    70 - 79%

D    60 - 69%

         F    59% and below
