Hello! My name is Mrs. Rene Kosina.
This is my 13th year teaching first graders at Mokena Elementary School. Prior to that, I taught students with learning and behavior disabilities for 2 years. I truly enjoy teaching this grade level and look forward to working with you and your child this year!
When I am not at school, I am kept busy by my 2 daughters, Brianne (7) and Kailey(3.) I have been married for 10 years. My husband is an English teacher at a high school. In my free time, I love to read, ice skate, go shopping, listen to live music, and spend time with my family and friends.
