First grade students learn how
to use a variety of programs including Print Shop, KidPix, Wordmunchers,
Microsoft Word and Essential Skills. They also learn how to glean
information from websites to prepare reports and are introduced to the
use of search engines. They learn how to open, import and save documents on
the network as well as locating files for future use. They learn how to
navigate various book marked websites that coincide with classroom activities including an extra
way to practice basic math
skills. Students can also access First
