At last night's Board meeting, the Board approved the interim superintendent contract for Steve Stein. Previously, Stein served as the superintendent of Peotone 207-U and Mokena 159, and principal of MES. Welcome back to Mokena!
Dr. Johnson will serve as interim July 1-31. Stein will serve beginning August 1.
Today we opened the time capsule that the students and staff of Mokena 159 buried under the Playscape in 1997. We had so much fun looking at all of the treasures left inside 27 years ago!
We are holding a brief "Meet & Greet" with our incoming interim superintendent immediately following Monday's 6:00 pm Special Board Meeting. We hope you can join us!
