5th graders learned about tornadoes, hail, and thunderstorms today from Mr. Nick from Illinois Storm Chasers and Storm Science. They even experienced a storm cloud in the gym! Thank you to the PTA for sponsoring this event that extended learning from their ELA module about natural disasters!

Our third graders did an incredible job performing for their families and friends at the recorder concerts this week! Special thanks to Ms. Clifford for all of her work! 🎶🎵




Launching Imagination was a hit. Thank you to Mrs. Dobbelhoff for organizing this wonderful MIS Art Fair. Every student had work displayed as well as a few hands on activities. Thanks to all of the families that came out to enjoy the magnificent art!










Congratulations to Emme Giovanini and Charlie Hein. Emme and Charlie were selected for the Illinois Principal Association Student Recognition Award. The students and their parents were treated to a wonderful breakfast and awards ceremony.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! We have some of the best! Our administrative professionals are the unsung heroes of our schools and we couldn't do this without them! 🥰

MIS Band & Orchestra students watched IL Philharmonic Orchestra perform at Governors State! Many students saw professional musicians play the same instrument as them! Johnny Thorns from Beginning Band and Mrs. Rothemel also helped with a magic trick where they made an ID float!



Second Grade Dudes Rock was a huge success last Friday! Thank you to all of the awesome dudes that came to the event!
