Today our Transportation Coordinator, Mr. Ervin Walker (second from right), and our Administrative Assistant for Payroll, Ms. Diana Lopez-Cosme (far right), represented Mokena 159 as presenters at the IL ASBO Bookkeepers Conference on how transportation and payroll work together!

MES Student Council recently collected cleaning products and hygiene products for the Frankfort Township Food Pantry. Thank you to all of our MES families for their continued support! Great job!

8th grade girls volleyball are Sectional CHAMPIONS and are STATE BOUND! They face Troy on Friday at 4:30 pm in the first round. Good luck, ladies!

The 8th grade girls volleyball team faces Flossmoor Parker TONIGHT at 630 pm for the sectional champion title! The game will be held at Kellar Middle School in Robbins, IL. Good luck, Meteors!

Thank you to all of our families that joined us for MES Family Night last week! We had a blast!









This afternoon we sent the MJHS 7th grade girls volleyball team off to State with a walk of honor! Students lined the halls to cheer them on as the team was led by Keegan on the share drum! They play tonight at 4:30 vs St. Joesph Triad in the first round.


Our Kindergarteners are applying all that they have learned about letters, sounds, and words to read books! Thank you to the Mokena Educational Foundation for donating sets of decodable books to our Kindergarten classrooms.

There's something in the water at MJHS because the 8th grade girls volleyball team also won the Regional Championship game last night!
Sectional play is Monday 6:30pm at Kellar Middle School in Robbins, IL.

The MIS gym was filled with music tonight during the March Melodies concert! Way to go Rockets!

Our 4th and 5th grade musicians have been working so hard in preparation for the concert tonight! It's going to be great!
